A Visit to Denver Botantical Garden

On the way up to Red Rock Lakes NWR, I spent two nights at Susanne's house. Susanne is the daughter of my best friend, Natalie.  She has recently gotten her first job in Boulder, Colordo.  Natalie was also there to help Susanne settle in to her new home. On my layover day, we decided to play a little at the Denver Botanical Garden.

We went there under cloudy skies with a threat of rain.  But we had a mix of partly sunny to cloudy skies for four glorious hours until the rain came. The light wasn't good for the big views but lots of the flower portraits turned out well.

This is a very lovely garden with three areas under construction.  They had both great plants and beautiful landscaping. A real treat to visit.

Here are a few of my favorite flowers.
